Heno (S4C) Television Appearance

Tori gave her first TV interview in Welsh, sharing her experience learning the language as an adult alongside her children.

"Learning a language as an adult is humbling. It demands patience, courage and commitment. I didn’t learn Welsh growing up in west Wales, but began learning during lockdown alongside my children."

BBC Radio Cymru Interview

Tori also gave her first Welsh-language radio interview with Aled Hughes, discussing Everest, learning Welsh, her podcast First Females, and the film More Than a Mountain.

“Mae dysgu iaith fel dringo Eferest - mae’n cymryd amser, mae angen amynedd, bod yn barod i fethu a gwneud camgymeriadau. Mae’n rhaid i chi gamu y tu allan i’ch llwybr cyfforddus.”

"Learning a language is like climbing Everest - it takes time, it requires patience, you have to be prepared to make mistakes and to step outside of your comfort zone."
